Summer Day Camp: Coastal Camp
Surrounded by stunning coastal landscapes, every day at Coastal Camp is an opportunity for adventure and discovery. Campers entering grades K-9 engage their curious minds and boundless energy by exploring and investigating the natural world.
- Exploring a national park: Weeklong day camps in the Marin Headlands featuring themes including natural and cultural history, marine mammals, and coastal ecology. Summer 2012 season runs June 11-August 17.
- Hands-on learning and adventures: Campers get up close with tidepool creatures in the intertidal marine lab, create field sketches while overlooking the Golden Gate Bridge, sail the Bay on an 82-foot schooner, and hike along coastal trails to the historic Point Bonita Lighthouse.
- Summer fun and lifelong friendships: Campers connect with the natural world while forging new friendships through team-building games designed to develop interpersonal skills and offer leadership opportunities.
- Convenience and quality: Convenient transportation from San Francisco and Mill Valley, extended care options, and financial assistance are available. Coastal Camp’s expert naturalists and counselors are experienced, well-trained, professional, and possess safety certifications.
