Vision
To inspire and cultivate a meaningful connection to the natural world in the lives of children and families through outdoor explorations, hands-on learning opportunities, creativity, and play.
Goals
Empower campers with knowledge to inspire responsible environmental behavior and stewardship.
Create a nurturing, welcoming, and supportive community where campers feel safe and are encouraged to play, explore, learn, and discover.
Provide transformative social and personal growth opportunities by encouraging teamwork, collaboration, and self awareness.
Create and deliver programs that are inquiry based, experiential, interdisciplinary, and cater to multiple intelligences.
Camp staff members serve as role models and are passionate about working, teaching, and playing outdoors with children.
Provide year-round program opportunities for camp families to foster relationships and strengthen connections with each other, camp partners, and the national park.
Serve a diverse community of children and families regardless of economic background.
Provide camp families with the highest level of customer service by offering convenient, flexible, culturally sensitive, and well-organized program options.
