Preview Coastal Campers' Stop Motion Animation Film!

This week at Coastal Camp, campers visted the Headlands Center for the Arts and had the chance to work with talented artist, Sarah Klein. Together they created a stop motion animation film inspired by the sights and sounds of the Marin Headlands. Check it out!

The Pond Lab activity at Headlands Institute leads students through hands on exploration to answer the question, "How healthy is the pond?" Students learn techniques for biomonitoring, and discover the world of benthic macroinvertebrates. Most importantly, they get their hands dirty and get excited about the world of squirmy little critters to be found in the mud.

Headlands Institute builds a community of outdoor education for all people. One way we do this is by creating a program that accommodates students with special needs. Dragana recommends our program for other parents and children with special needs after sending Luka, her son, to our program.
