For outdoor professionals and enthusiasts, we offer wilderness first aid and first responder courses. These nationally recognized training courses prepare participants to respond to emergencies in remote settings. They typically run during the summer months.

Exploritas »

Exploritas, formerly Elderhostel, partners with Olympic Park Institute to offer programs for active adults who enjoy the outdoors and learning in a fun, social setting. Programs incorporate crafts, natural history, and moderate hikes through ancient rainforests, mountain ranges, and stunning coastline.

Ecological Teaching and Learning with Lesley University »

Lesley University is excited to announce a new M.S. in Ecological Teaching and Learning (ETL) cohort at the Olympic Park Institute.Students will begin the 32-credit ETL program with an intensive summer field experience on Lake Crescent.
