Field Science Techniques in an "Olympic" sized Watershed
October 8-10th, 2010
- Compare biotic factors from Hurricane Ridge to the mouth of the Elwha River on the Strait of Juan de Fuca.
- Enjoy an autumn weekend with your family hiking, drawing, and relaxing in Olympic National Park's most watched watershed.
Retreat Model: Some activities will be open to all participants (including children) while others will be restricted to teachers in the workshop.
Tuition: $45 for Washington Classroom Teachers, $60 per non-participating guest, children ages 9 and under come free! Tuition includes meals lodging and program instruction. Child care is not provided, please make arrangements for supervision.

- Develop testable questions about Lake Crescent in small groups or on your own
- Explore the lake by canoe, from shore or use a method of your own invention to collect data
- Analyze your data, sythesize your findings and translate your new knowledge about Lake Crescent to an important water body in your home community.
Tuition: $45 for Washington Teachers. Tuition includes meals and lodging.
