Summer Field Research Course »
A two-week course for 15-18 year olds in which they create their own ecological research project and earn college credit while backpacking in the Yosemite wilderness.
Armstrong Scholars Program »
This two-week course honors former Yosemite Institute and Headlands Institute educator Joie Armstrong. The trip brings together young women, ages 15 to 18, for a truly empowering summer backpacking adventure in the High Sierra.

This innovative partnership between Yosemite Institute, Yosemite and Sequoia-Kings Canyon National Parks, and the USDA Forest Service engages underserved high school students from California in wilderness and public lands.
