Job opportunities

Yosemite Institute enjoys a long history and excellent reputation of being one of the leading outdoor schools in California. One of the keys to that success is our staff of highly skilled field educators and support staff. They are diligent, self directed individuals with the ability to communicate clearly and work cooperatively with others.

Positions occasionally open in the program, food, and facilities departments, in which case job descriptions will be posted here as they come available. Field educator positions usually open each fall and occasionally in the spring. For this reason, applications are accepted on a year round basis.  

All applicants who reach the interview stage of the application process must authorize a background check. Field educators and employees who interact with students must also be fingerprinted.
